不能说的秘密

im being an absolute bummer right now, lying on my bed, surfing the net and watching the tv amidst all the mess in my room. Yes..im that lazy, the suitcase is still here and the ws are still pretty much lying around. I shall get down to clearing it soon...yup..soon soon once my uni apps are clear. Just 2 more to go.



Anw I shall just get down and see what i have been doing the past few days.

Mon 24 Dec/ Tue 25 Dec
went to the bank in the afternoon for my mum and then met the parents for lunch at fish and co. Normally it's christmas dinner but since this year both my sis and i have stuff on, it's christmas eve lunch/tea instead. After that, bought cakes and pastries home, met my sis, had tea and then off to the class' chirstmas eve party.

Class christmas party at clara's house was fun. 13 ppl or so turned up and supposedly, there was to be no shorts, tshirts and slippers and so we saw dresses, skirts, blouses, jeans and shirts. We ate, talked, played mass murderer, mahjong, monopoly and had gift exchange. Sorry clara for that sad gift i got u. Anw, beejuan, james, amanda, ivan, I and clara (duh) stayed over, cleared up the place and then played mahjong through the nite. No money involved, but u had to drink if u threw the winning tile. Not bad, i only lost 3 times. But anw..time really flies and then it was morning. Played a bit more cards and everyone left ard 10. Sadly didnt take pictures la...but anw thx steph, beejuan and clara for organising it.

I spent the rest of the day sleeping and bumming ard and that's chirstmas 07.

went to rj to stamp my result slips and certs. Didnt see many ppl preparing for orientation. But it was really nostalgic walking through the skool again..brought back lots of wonderful memories. Went to A23 again and stood outside for awhile...thinking bout how we used to walk up to the door, hoping mr sze was not in class yet...etc etc. and the graph paper on the notice board is still up there. Ah..2 years of jc feels abit too short for me...but i'll definitely cherish the time i had in rj. After that, went to town, walk ard awhile, waited for my mum and then went home to do more uni apps. Fri 28 Dec
went to town again to meet yishi, aminah and toffa for mr magorium's wonderful emporium. Couldnt believe we were going to watch it before the show...but it was quite cute la..and abit sad. At lunch, we started reminiscing abt school and getting fascinated over aminah's teaching job. The 3 of them preferred rg over rj but i still very much enjoyed rj more. For one thing, i definitely had more of a life in jc and was more sociable. Thinking about it...in rg it was school, cca and then home. Otherwise it was just school and home. Didnt go out as much as now. I probably mugged alot more in Rj..duh with a levels..but the mugging was more fun la..in the canteen and library with my frens. Yes..mugging can be fun. Haha. Omg..im such a mugger...according to a few of my og juniors..i was always either mugging or sleeping. Yeah..but my memories of rj go much beyond that. Ok..digress too much. after that, walked ard wisma and taka and then went our seperate ways.

Sat 29 Dec
i got woken up by huihui's call at 11am. Seems like my sleeping cycle has gone back to normal again. Just after coming back from us i was waking up at 5/6 am naturally. Now it's 11. Anw, went to post the uni apps stuff and then shopped ard ntuc with the parents. In the evening went to meet hui at town again...omg orchard 3 days in a row..while my parents went for chen lei's concert. Haha. Once again..she bought stuff and i didnt. We almost never buy stuff together la. Went for dinner at crystal jade la mian xiao long bao. Queued for almost half an hour. But saturday nite what can one expect. It was much much worse at ding tai fung. Anw it was worth it...wanted to eat xiao long bao since before the a levels already. After queueing so long..each person must eat 5 la..then worth it. After that no time to go far east already so we bought ah pek ice cream and then went home where i finally submitted uni apps for cornell and illinois.

Sun 30 Dec
was suppose to go do hair with my mum. Haha..she can no longer stand the messiness of it. But i woke up late...at 11 again. Anw i guess i have to stay at home today. There's till one more uni app due 1 jan. Actually im not sure if i really want to apply. Dont think i can get in...but then again..what's the harm in applying. us$75 and a bit of time i guess. Haha..so far i havent really started on it. Realised i have neglected this blog for too long.

So the next week...supposedly new year countdown with some classmates...movie on thur with the girls...og outing and hmm...maybe ice skating or another mahjong session before ppl start getting busy with jobs or going to the army la.

2007 has been a great year with many great memories. Thx to everyone who made it this way, the girls, chinese dance ppl, 6q etc. Hopefully 2008 would be even better. New beginnings..new schools...new friends...but hopefully we'll still keep in touch.

im back!! and jetlagging. Explains why im here now ah. I slept at 3pm and woke up at 1am..translated to california time means 11pm and 9am. Anw im starting to miss US now and so im going to try and sleep again and dream about it.

hallo! from san francisco!

haha...i think im quite a noob. First time im blogging from a hotel somewhere in another country. It's 740am now here..prob 11pm in singapore i think. Anw just finished breakfast b4 some long journey somewhere else. Aiyah..woke up at 4am this morning la...both me and my sis couldnt sleep. Oh did i mention..we're at marriot.

Anw..let's start from the first day la. Plane ride from singapore to seoul then seoul to san francisco. The steward was damn funny la. Showed magic tricks...made rabbits out of towels. Aiyah...funniest air steward i ever seen la. But sadly the movies abit sian leh. Just when i had to have such a long plane ride. Anw..gtg soon la. Maybe the next hotel will have this again.

Anw prom's just over. It was fun (note the limited vocabulary). But this is it...we'll probably hardly see many people again. Okay..emo-ing. Anw..maybe i'll just post some pics instead.

at 330 am, clarke quay

i almost won $80 guess voucher from the lucky draw. Just one number away. It was 00455. I was 00456. And the ticket was from our table but we couldnt find it. 00454, 00456, 00457 all have but no 00455. Sad=(

anw...we didnt go for post prom party. Attempted to look for the place just for fun but couldnt find it in the end. So we ended up sitting by singapore river opposite clarke quay reminiscing about our 2 years. Well..sort of. At 330 we walked by to swissotel, washed up, played cards and mahjong till 730am when we finally went to sleep. Finally woke up at 1130, way later than we wanted to...lunch at thai express and then home. Reached home and slept from 2 to 9. For one moment, my parents thought i went missing when they couldnt find me. 8 missed calls.

So i've spent the last 3 days at home. Normally i dont last so long without going out. But most of the time were spent sleeping anyway. Thursday felt more like post prom day rather than wednesday simply coz i slept most of wed away. But anyway, i've been waking up as late as possible 11, 12 noon so that i've less time to have to rot away. Aiyah..uni apps, scholarships, job applications. So many things to do but i just didnt do them. Hopefully i'll have fun during the trip and emo alot less.

saturday shopping with hui was shiok. Got my prom shoes, bag, earrings and necklace settled in one day and my feet didnt hurt at all for once, considering we walked for 5 hours? In total, we saw abt 10 over rj ppl in town. Not that many actually isnt it?

Anw, berkeley application is finally done. But for one thing, it kinda sucks to fill in a form sort of designed for the us education system when in singapore it's so much different. Had to clarify so much stuff in the application. Anw, 3 down, 4 more to go.

So today went manicure with hui, rachel and juee. Haha..very shuang, like taitai like that.

And i hope my nose holds up tomorrow, figure of speechly. Fell sick during sec 4 prom and now again. Ok..cant wait to see everyone tmr!!
